Paint by the Pond

Thursday, July 25 at 6pm

Duck, duck, paint! We're bringing the Library's Duck Pond inside the library one inspiring art piece at a time! Register to be part of our August Duck Pond Gallery Art Show and receive a blank canvas. Turn your canvas into a work of art featuring our very own Duck Pond. Are you most captivated by the turtles, the fish, or maybe our resident groundhog? We'll have paint and supplies on hand to help you create your masterpiece.

Need more time or can't join us on July 25? Just let us know! Register as a participant, pick up your canvas at your convenience, and return your work by August 1. Additional supplies will not be provided to take home. We'll get our ducks in a row and open the show at our official Gallery Opening event on Friday, August 2nd.

This event is for artists of ALL ages! Registration is required. One registration form = one canvas.

Intro to Live Action Roleplay with the Wayfinder Experience

Thursday, August 1 at 2pm

Adding foam swordplay to the schoolyard classic, the Wayfinder experience brings their version of Capture The Flag to the Town of Esopus Library.  In one of our CTF classes, students can expect to engage in numerous active games that push the boundaries between competitive and cooperative interaction, learning to act out high-intensity physical play safely and responsibly.  The evolving complexity of our games will force them to build both leadership and team-building skills.  Participants should be ages 10 and up.

Registration required.
