Tarot Poetry Event

Thursday, April 24 at 6pm

We will review the Major Arcana of the Rider Waite Smith tarot along with a few of the most famous poems inspired by the deck (T.S. Eliot, Sylvia Plath). The rest of our time will be spent workshopping poems participants bring, consulting the cards themselves for edits.

Timothy Liu’s latest books of poems are Down Low and Lowdown and Luminous Debris. He teaches Creative Writing at SUNY New Paltz and gives tarot readings at The Omega Institute in Rhinebeck.
