Bubblegum Workshop

Friday, June 5 at 4:30pm

Learn how Different ingredients add different chemical properties to delicious bubblegum! Become a bubblegum scientist with the help of the nutty scientists.

Tuesday, June 9 at 10:15am

Join Ms. Terry for a seven-week session of music and movement. Each week Ms. Terry, a licensed music therapist, will lead us through developmentally focused songs, dances, movement, and more. 

Register to let us know you'll be there!

Recommended for ages 0-5. 

Garden Storytime & Pudding Cup Craft

Thursday, June 11 at 5pm

Enjoy some stories about gardens, while hopefully out in the garden, then make an edible garden out of pudding and snacks. 

Weather permitting this program will take place outside.

Friday, June 12 at 5pm

Join us for our final spring meeting of the Young Readers Book Club (we will return in September!). This month we will be reading Zoey and Sassafras: Dragons and Marshmallows by Asia Citro. Copies are available at the library.

 

Recommended for students in grades 2-5.

Summer Reading Kick-off with Forsyth Nature Center!

Saturday, June 27 at 11am

Join us at the library on Saturday, June 27th to kick-off summer reading with a visit from some animal friends from Forsyth Nature Center. Participants will explore different animal classes and discover how each animal’s unique traits help them survive in the wild.

The 45-minute live animal demonstration will captivate audiences while providing a fun, educational, and sensory-rich experience. This program is open and enjoyable for people of all ages. Registration for our summer reading challenges starting today too!
