Join this family-friendly celebration of Pride! 🌈

 

Watch performances by local lip-sync performers, hear a Pride-themed story by Ms. Charlotte, and do a fun all-abilities rainbow themed craft.

Juneteenth author talk with Lesa Cline-Ransome

Wednesday, June 18 at 5pm

Join 2025 Newbery Honor Winner and Coretta Scott King Award Winning author Lesa Cline-Ransome in our Community Room for "The Road to Freedom," an author talk on the concept of freedom for Black folks in America. This presentation is best suited for patrons ages 8 through adult. Light refreshments will be served.

 

Cline-Ransome is the multi-award winning author of many books, including For Lamb, Being Clem, and Finding Langston. Her most recent book, One Big Open Sky has received some of the highest honors in children's literature.
