Harriet Tubman: Journey to Freedom

Wednesday, April 14th @ 6:00 pm

Harriet Tubman was an American abolitionist who made some 13 missions to rescue approximately 70 enslaved people, including family and friends, using the Underground Railroad.

The highlight of the program is the discussion of the 9-foot, 2,400-pound bronze sculpture Harriet Tubman: Journey to Freedom by internationally recognized artist Wesley Wofford. This is a traveling exhibition celebrating Harriet’s achievements and sharing her vision of hope for the future.
