**Competition entrants are encouraged to adhere to assigned topics. We recommend that phtotgraphs be matted (unframed)and at least 8' X 10" in size.
Entrants must be present in order to enter a Competition. We also wish to encourage attendance at meetings on Competition nights, even if you are not entering in the competition. It can be a valuable learning process to simply observe. It is also possible that other club business may take place.

**Competition Guidelines for monthly meetings

  1. One entry per person will be allowed.
  2. Photo entries should be presented between 6:00 and 6:30PM on the evening of the competition at the sign-in table. Please note that none will be accepted after 6:35PM.
  3. The photo must be matted or mounted on 2-ply stiff mat board, but should not be in a frame.
  4. Photo size of 8" x 10" is preferred.
  5. No identifying markings (e.g. signature, etc.) should appear on the front side of the entry. An entry label, which will be supplied upon signing in and registering, will be affixed to the back upper right corner, and will contain specific information, including Date, Title, Maker, Entry#.
  6. Entries will be displayed around the room, and only the Entry# & Title will be visible on the front lower right-hand corner of the photo.
  7. All attendees will participate in a Scoring procedure; points for each entry will then be tallied. First, Second, and Third Place winners, based upon the top three scorers, will be announced.
  8. Critiques of each entry will then take place.
  9. Photographers will have their scores recorded for each Competition, and will accumulate points throughout the Club Year (Sept to August). Resulting cumulative scores will result in end-of-year recognition announcements.
